The Boysen Group is driving the technological transformation forward at a rapid pace. Since 2022, the Group has already secured two major orders for the development and production of battery cases for electric vehicles. This involves the construction of two new production plants in Nyíregyháza (Hungary) and Nagold (Calw district).
"Due to the enormous progress in the battery business, we will also be commissioning our new BAK development centre in Simmersfeld from April 2024 and bundling our range of services in the field of e-mobility there," says Boysen Managing Director Rolf Geisel. "In addition to battery housings, we will also be focussing on complete battery systems and hydrogen technologies - with a particular focus on the production, storage and consumption of hydrogen in the latter case."
As a logical consequence, Boysen is driving forward the development of hydrogen storage systems for commercial vehicles at the Innovation Centre in Nagold (BIN).The first prototypes - for both liquid and gaseous hydrogen - have been undergoing testing since 2023 and should soon be approved by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority.
The Boysen Group is constantly on the lookout for new, motivated employees to expand these new business areas. If you would like to play an active role in writing the next chapter in the company's 100-year history, you should apply now!
