BAK Boysen Abgaskomponenten GmbH & Co. KG

Simmersfeld

Designed around state-of-the-art process technology and logistics, the Boysen plant BAK is geared towards highly flexible production of components and complete exhaust systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and off-highway applications. In addition, the site focuses on the production of structural components for electric vehicles. Since the start of production in 2001, the plant has been continuously expanded - for example in 2017 with the construction of the Group's largest production plant in Germany to date (BAK II), which was realised as part of a major order from Daimler Truck. Most recently, in 2024, the BAK Development Centre was opened in the immediate vicinity of the large factory, focusing on solutions for electromobility.
